This is my favorite. Not top grade, built from a $250 blank. Yet, there's something special about it.

Not the flashiest but here's a new, replacement stock for the New Haven built left handed Model 70 Classic Safari Express.

This doesn't qualify as a custom stock, since this is the stock it came in when I bought it from Cal Pappas, a much abused Westley Richards 8X57JS with a shot out bore, built on an Oberndorf commercial action, but this is what it looks like now, after being rebored and rechambered to 9X57 and refinished by Lon Paul.

This is the "Before" condition:

And this is my .350 Rigby Magnum, also in an original Rigby stock, also refinished by Lon Paul:

I had 3 Remington Custom Shop scopes "70s era" that were made to mount on top of the 40X receivers and were return to battery with external adjustment.

Jmbrown, I have a virtual copy of that M 31 in 16 gauge. I have always thought it looked factory but was way too nice. Even the wood has the same grain
