| I'd like to see side views taken at right angles to the bore line. There is a Bob Owens look to the stock partciularly in the cheekpiece profile.

| What a treasure you have to introduce to the great outdoors. Stunning wood, on a classic action in the classic chambering. Good hunting to you both. Von Gruff. |

| Is the safety bespoke ? In my limited knowledge of customs I haven't seen anything like that before. |

| I think the safety is a Model 70 Pre-War unit.
Beautiful rifle. I'd love to know who did the work. |

| I talked to Gary Goudy today, he's the man deserving the credit, sounds like it was built in the 70's, Cas is right, it's a pre war safety . Thanks for the kind words guys, I did spend a good part of the day just looking at the thing! It's first range day is coming soon. |

| Prewar 70, the Bob Emmons rifle he had was a .375, another beauty for sure but my funds were tapped. |

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

| Worry not, I was rather careful with both the chisel and the rifle. |
