Phil:

How much trouble is it for an Alaskan to hunt
bear (Black or grizzly ) in the Yukon.

Understand the usual forms for rifle. Extra permits, licenses, and assorted red tape? Any tariffs on
hunters or bear hides?
Any advice welcomed.

And don't forget you have to use a licensed outfitter.

that is the main part to no forget.

Yukoners were authorized to hunt big game except sheep, brown/grizzly and mountain goat the same as lower 48ers but they changed it a while ago and yukoners were going mostly for deer and filling the freezer with different meat that we cannot hunt that much.

we still have the exchange for fishing as for the Alaskans to the yukon where we as they pay only resident prices but i do not for how long as some alaskans complained about it again last year ...

We got Canadian fishing licenses in Dawson City on our trip to Tuktoyuktak. We were charged the same as the resident Yukon license fee because we are Alaskan.

yes that is still working but i do recall in your legslative assembly some were complaining about but we are still paying as you as a resident but the quotas are as non resident which makes sense of course.
