SGraves155Ammo choice for 4" vs. 5" 45acp
Am getting a Taurus PT945SS with a 4" barrel for CCW. My 1911 colt GC w/5" barrel shoots everything, including +P loads, well. Any recommendations for do's or don't's on ammo for the Taurus?

bradheGenerally 4 versus 5 makes no difference. with any new gun you have to make sure it feeds the ammo you want to use, particularly for a self defense gun

This is true. Reliability is #1. You can expect about 30fps drop from the 5", not enough to matter.

not that the 45ACP is known for a big flash...
