Odd mix with beautiful outcome.
My friends nephew Jan is 14, shooting his uncle's Victor Sarasqueta in .375 H&H Flanged, loaded with GS HV 265gr going ~ 2800 fps:
He managed to take 6 pigs on this driven hunt that took place in Croatia (Belje) in duration of 2 days - there he is with one of his pigs:
And the quarry (8 hunters took 33 pigs):

mouse93Thanks guys - yes Jan is a big boy

, AZGuy - I was only present at range one time the rifle was shot during load developement - and it looked allright at 100m (~2" spread between barrels). Rifle is mainly used as a lending rifle on a bear and boar hunts (close range) tho some Hungarian red stags were taken out to 200m - scopes (there are two - Swaro 1-4 on pic with illuminated circle dot reticle and another Swaro 1.5-6x with 4A and iluminated dot ret.) are fine tuned to the right barrel.

justanothernorwegianFantastic!

Can I be your nephew too?

Just out of curiosity, you write that you use GS bullets, that is mono bullets, right? Are they safe to use in a dr?
12 February 2008, 11:25
mouse93If any monos are to be used in doubles - GS would be my first choice.
