Larry, what was the end result of your BB double? I met you at Bailey's booth a couple years ago at DSC. The gun was not completed, but you were proud as hell. How did it turn out?

Biebs,

Did YOU get your Bradshaw rifles yet?
Who else is waiting with deposits already advanced to Mr. Bradshaw?

Who all has received their rifle from B.B.?

Correct bullet placement, combined with the required depth of bullet penetration, results in an anchored animal...

I am in the que (i.e., deposit paid+), and impatiently waiting. Hopefully a rifle materializes sooner than later.

I asked this question a few weeks ago. No response. Am I to assume that all is not well? Not that I am aware of. Not trying to stir stuff up. Just asking about the end result. The silence is deafening. Confused

Thanks Jon. My question was posed on Oct. 26. Larry has made many posts up to including yesterday, Nov. 13. After about 3 weeks, as active as Larry is on these threads, it made me wonder. Still does. Again, just asking. I recall that you were interested in trading to me one of BB's guns after you had received it. So???

That was a 6.5x57 that I bought from a friend, as he needed $$$ for his new house due to some unforeseen costs. I'm only interested in DRs in African calibers...I still see them primarily as close-range and stopping rifles. My 500 NE and 450-400 is being regulated now, then engraving, casehardening, and we're done.

I am very happy to hear that you call your
BRADSHAW double a treasure. What's it's caliber
and empty weight again please?

Nowadays I find it easiest to shoot video with my
phone, send it to youtube.com, and then copy and
paste the link to the video; instead of sharing
still photos.

DR
Well the gun is in 450 3 1/4 NE
26 " barrels
Almost 11 pounds
I will post some pictures soon just a pain with photo bucket.
The gun making business is a rough go especially when you are coming up with a industry first. He is perfecting this double falling block and I believe it will eventually become a premier gun and guys will beg borrow and steal to get their hands on one.
The design is great, the balance is perfect.
Bailey has designed a specific JIG to help him regulate to perfection. He can put the holes any place you want but he has decided side by side cut each there holes was the best plan.
Mine is unique in 3 other ways I purchased a rare hunk of wood from Freeman at Luxus 2 added some walrus ivory to the and pistol grip 3 a unique engraving which he copied exactly from a picture. Also Turnbull did the case coloring.
Wait 2 years or 3 years for one of the one of a kind big bores maybe so, but remember when it comes you will Belong to a rare club of big bore Bailey Bradshaw falling block doubles. There is no gun out there that can compare with this rarity at the price they sell for.
Thanks
Larry
