I went there on Friday and got to handle Larry's rifle. The damthing is GEORGOUS!!! Even better, it balances and feels like a heavy double shotgun. And the take-down action is brilliantly designed and fast. I almost changed my current order (a damascus-actioned 22 Hornet), but I need something to use on those wounded squirrels in heavy cover Roll Eyes

Y'all just aint right.

Two visuals I have left over from the show is Don Hooker following some blonde S.African lady with his tounge hanging out and a big goofy grin, and the look on my Mother in Laws face when Bieber told her her online dating profile ( that's right, she's available....widowed) should read "Looking for friendship......but willing to put out" . Good grief, how do I get mixed up with such goons.

Tell your mother-in-law I am sorry I took Biebs to your booth. I could have left him at the GH booth he would have been happy all week.
As for Hook he can read and he seen your Banner so he found your booth by accident.
Well put a security camera outside at the shop and a automatic lock so when Hook drives up everything is locked up.
Again great show you have your work cut out for you.
Do you have an estimated delivery on my double?
Let Me know

Larry

I thought so but it looked very curly. Very very nice. I thought it might have been Maple, which I really like but never see on modern rifles.

Well, the Username is a nickname I got a while back. But, my GGGGGrandfather was, by all indications, one of the cracker cowboys rounding up/stealing Spanish cattle in Florida, as was his son, and probably his son (at some point they started growing cotton also). My GGrandfather was an old school cowboy and there are pictures of him driving cattle through downtown Jacksonville to load on a Barge.

My Grandfather, who raised me, raised cattle, trained horses and was a professional Team and Calf roper before it was all cool and there was money in it. We lived at an arena he owned and all my chores as kid involved checking fences, caring for horses, working cattle and killing rats, pigeons and snakes. I don't really do it any more but I can still pop a flower off the stem with a 10' Bullwhip.

I think my membership is still active. lol Wink

I brought back a whip made by a villager in the Caprivi. It is made from treebark. Its about 10' long and the natives use them at night to crack. suppose to scare of the elephants. Sounds like a 38 going off.
Glad you like the wood
It is a very unique piece but worthy of a very unique rifle.
