This rifle was built for a customer back in 1999.
The theme for this rifle was the second amendment.

pagosawingnutDamn, what a good looking rifle. What does it weigh?

More pictures please ! Did H&H build it ?

I built it, I wouldn't show a rifle that I didn't build.
Rick it weighs 19 lbs.
I thought the theme of this rifle would be appropriate for political atmosphere these days.

Evan K.Great theme, seems especially appropriate for a .700. What is on the left side of the receiver? I like the cheekpiece shape in particular too.
I don't own any DRs (yet), but I've been enjoying the work you've been posting Butch. Thanks for sharing. I'm living vicariously through the double rifle, big bore, and African hunting forums here.

shootawayThat must be surestrike`s rifle.

It has a bell engraved because that is what you will hear for weeks after you shoot it.

D R HunterNot a reasonable caliber. With 577 NE, 600 NE, 12, 10, & 8 bore already in existence why bother?
I'm sure it was built well though.

Hi Cal,
I see the 4B & 2B as being in a separate category all together,
and not belonging in the same paragraph as any other caliber.
Just my take...

Good call! My dream combo for an African hunt; but will need some gunbearers too

Like the theme but a little subtlety in making a statement goes a long way.

bigdoggy2boreButch, that is one great looking rifle. I think the 700 is a great caliber to have fun with. Still have mine.

My edumacated guess in conjunction with the theme of the rest of the rifle would be the Bill of Rights?

It's a short length of pull so you can wear 3 or 4 PAST recoil shoulder pads under it.
It's left handed but I really don't want to shoot it.
