I have shot several 470 Chapuis Double Rifles.

All of them were VERY accurate, and very easy to load for. All of them responded to the 75% rule as well.

My 9,3x74R Chapuis is one of my favorite hunting rifles.

I have used it in Texas, Montana, Idaho,Canada, and Zimbabwe with excellent results.

Well, I know you and Dale both slightly, and I know which I believe. You're a Merkel dealer running down a competitor in a particularly unseemly way, and it just doesn't pass the smell test.

AND JUST REMEMBER- CHAPUIS DOES NOT HAVE ANY FACTORY SERVICE I USA THAT I AM AWARE OF.

DO YOU KNOW OF ANY CHAPUIS FACTORY SERVICE ?

I DON'T.

Another attempt to run down a competitor's product with a statement you know to be false. J. J., one of the most solidly qualified DR men in the US, does warranty work for Chapuis here and you know it.

PEOPLE DON'T LIKE TO HEAR THE TRUTH OR FACTS.

Then try posting truth or facts sometime. You have a long history of posting false statements here about things and people that you don't like, Tom, and you're careful to do it in a particularly nasty way. I didn't find you that way in person, but that's obviously the persona that you wish to present on the net. You alone are responsible for that choice.

LET'S ASK DLN TO POST A PICTURE OF THE STOCK THEN YOU DECIDE IF IT IS SAPWOOD OR NOT.

You're the one making the claims - loudly. You posted it for sale on the net, so you have pictures. It's YOUR place to post 'em. If you're telling the truth, why should you be reluctant to do so?

Here you go Tom, right out of the netiquitte website! Roll Eyes

What to do?
· Forget about boldface, italics, tabs, and font changes. Never use any effect you couldn't get on an old-fashioned typewriter. In fact, you can't even use all of those. Underlining won't work, for example. Nor can you use the old "required backspace" trick to put a diacritical mark (a tilde or an accent mark, for example) over another character.
· Most systems won't read the diacritical marks anyway, so just leave them out. If you feel an accent mark is absolutely necessary, type an apostrophe after the letter the accent would have gone over.
· Use only ASCII characters. This includes all 26 letters of the alphabet (upper and lower case), the numerals 0 through 9, and most commonly used punctuation marks. For any publishing mavens out there, however, it excludes em dashes (" -- "), en dashes ("-"), and bullets.
· Limit your line length to 80 characters, or better yet,
60 characters.
Otherwise, your lines may break in weird places and
your readers
will have to wade through notes that look like this.
Believe me,
it gets annoying after a very short while.
· NEVER TYPE YOUR NOTES IN ALL CAPS, LIKE THIS. It's rude -- like shouting constantly. And, like constant shouting, it makes people stop listening. All caps may be used, IN MODERATION, for emphasis.
· To indicate italics, you may
*surround the material to be italicized with asterisks.*
