All I can say is what could they have possibly been thinking? Once again it proves there is no accounting for taste or at times the lack there of. Hell of a thing to do to a gun.

90,000- 125,000 hmmmmmmm! I think that should be carved on the bottom of a tusk. On a rifle it's a bit "loud".

Why insult John Denver? Looks more like a baggy pants hip hop performer, with all that guady, no taste "BLING"! thumbdown

I wouldn't give 125K for six of those, if I had to keep them, on display where anyone could see them. Roll Eyes

I'd still probably take it if someone gave it to me!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

I agree with gumboot. Yes I do think it is a little over the top with enbelishments but who ever did the work did a really good job of it.

To bad this engraver didn't spend the time on a lot od English scroll and bolino game scenes and then tone it down with color case hardning.
The amount of work he did deserves some appreciation
