Biebs-You do need to bring a camera and get some pictures of the 6.5 for me.

Don't need to see what's under the raincoat!

Your work looks incredible. I saw a Martini and Hagn rifle in an old double gun journal with a similar idea. It seems to me this is a far stronger and superior way to make a double rifle. I can't wait to read the reviews.

Only a pimp if you charge a "fondling" fee!

Actually not a bad idea - A way to subsidize future projects!

Spent an hour at Bailey's booth. Met him, his lovely wife and family. Played with his wonderful light F'son single in 22 Hornet (on special for the show). Almost bought it.

Fondled the F'son double in 6.5. Gorgeous!!!! Ordered one in 22 Hornet!!!!! Will probably get a Damascus action! Life good.

Bailey is a craftsman and artist. I look forward to seeing the rifle as it comes into being.

Just back to the hotel for the night. Show is over and we had to stay another night due to bad weather.

It was a great show for me. The resonse to my falling block double was great. Many PH's are interested in them too, which is thrilling for me. That's just where I want some of these doubles to go.

I took a couple of firm orders, made several contacts and expect more orders in the coming days. Cabela's will get one in .22 hornet ( Of course not as nice as yours will be Leo).

Tons of appreciation to Biebs, Larry K. and a Hooker ( DDrHook to be exact) :-) This is a great community to be involved with.

Leo,

I'm really looking forward to your order. Small doubles make me weak in the knees. Thanks so much for the opportunity to make one for you.

That falling block double was something special for sure.

And the extractors did work just like ejectors when you flipped the lever down fast.

What a rifle!

GEE I have been missing some great posts.
Just got back from Alabama after Dallas.
Well Bailey the wood blank pictures is great I will post it later.
Biebs and I are very happy to be on the ground floor with this new rifle production project.
I believe after we show off Biebs 500 and my 450 NE you will be swamped with that gun building business.
I also want to pass on that it was great meeting your family. Keep up the good work.

PS. who high jacked this thread it started out as such a nice thread. and Bailey builds such nice rifles, I bet when he get's his new glasses he will realize it has to barrels side by side instead of one barrel and he will be embarrassed. at least the new glasses will cure his double vision jumping

Don't tell me, the story was the person
"just sat down fast and it was there!"

We can blame Biebs for this off-course venture.

Now back to Bailey's gun building biddness.

How much more pressure could this action take over a standard double. The reason I am asking is that it would be nice to take a 470 NE and load to about 50,000cip. Make reamers that would move the shoulder of the case a little forward so that loaded cartridges would not be accidentally used in a reg 470 NE but reg 470 NE could be use to fire form brass.

Yep - heard that one too! animal

Think there is a book for these excuses and it is required reading for the masses who present to ED (ER for us old guys) at 3AM?
Confused
And tell me, why is the champagne flute, battery, salt shaker, lightbulb, etc. always lubed and upright on the chair when they "sat down fast"? And why were they naked in the first place? bewildered

And the things I have cut off and pulled out of people ... shocker

OK, if anyone thinks this stuff is fabricated, I'll tell you that radiologists have file cabinets full of images of such - PHI removed to protect the "innocent".

Now Biebs, are you sorry you caused a perfectly good thread on aperfectly good subject with a perfectly innocent man involved to stray? old
