He's a PH in Mozambique who I think aquired said rifle while here during "show season" some years back (probably second hand). When I was there, he was having trouble with it doubling, which it did on a bull giraffe.

The giraffe died quite nicely, I might add.

I suggested that he bring it back here with him when he attended the next year's show season and get it into your hands for the repair, which he obviously did not do.

I was just curious if he had done so or not. (given the well documented trouble a resident of Zim has in getting a firearms export/import permit, this may not have even been an option).
