My buddy Chris and I just had a very relaxing week fishing with a few friends in Alaska.

That is an impressive bunch of fish--particuliarly that big rockfish you caught. Congratulations. Excellent picts.

Good job especially on the rockfish. Did you catch any octopus or spiny dog fish (small sharks)? How deep were you fishing and out of which port?

We were fishing from kodiak Harbor, Nope, no octopus or spiny dog fish (small sharks).

Just got back from this years trip. The exact opposite weather...Rain, wind, rain, tough seas, did I mention rain? Out of 7 days there we were able to fish 2 1/2 days. 5-16 foot seas everyday. Still had a great time and wouldn't trade it for anything.

If you can put up with Art for a week, the weather is no big deal

Art always make sure to make crapes the first morning. This year he made Cherry Crepes and we scooped the innerds from one of Martha's Berry Pies to mix in it. Art lulls us into a food coma immediately and then he can do no wrong
