SGraves155OK. Everyone who has sat on the back of a small dead whale while several Great White sharks were eating on it, please raise your hands!!

TCLouisGreat footage, and a real chance to study group feeding behavior beyond some chum ball of frozen fish or a small seal with individual shark partaking.
A brave act is when one takes a chance to really accomplish something.
A dumb act is one does something as stunt.
That is what telephoto lenses do, and do a better job at that.
Bravery or stupidity, only each of us can decide where we feel it falls.

GSP7I wonder if the dude that got on the whale while the sharks were eating it is related to Tredwell.
Stupidity

CopidosomaGreat bit of natural history there. Interesting theories on the mating behaviour.
As far as the guy who got on the carcass... What an idiot. "nobody has ever got this close to feeding sharks and lived to..." well duuuh. Nobody NEEDS to get that close. As stated above there are lenses to do this (and they do a much better job). Just an ego trip. What an idiot.
Personally I was hoping he would slip off.
