Does anyone have a 6.5-300 HH or know about one?
I thought this would be interesting.

I have a buddy that built a 6.5 RUM and can't get as good of velocity as he had hoped. He is still trying though. I think that it is just too overbored. You would need a 40" barrel to use the powder in such a small bore in my opinion.

Might work in the H&H though.

God Bless, Louis

264 Win Mag 82 grains
300 HH 86 grains
A 6.5 HH would only have about 3.5 more grains than the 264 Win Mag so plenty of good loads to go off of.
Was thinking of this because the 375 and 300 HH share the same taper so making a gun to feed all 3 would be easy on a switch barrel set up.
Could be a sweet cart for feeding slick and shooting heavy bullets fast and flat.

Hmmmm... Would you rechamber a rem 700 in 25-06?
I wonder if the 257 Banshee would be good for load development.

I have a few model 30-s and a model 70 knock off I may do a switch bbl on. only reason im looking at 257 instead of 6.5 is the two krieger blanks on hand in 257.. the action is a 375 now . still dont think you can go too wrong to just fill the case up with 4831 to the botttom of the neck. over simple I know but a good place to start measureing. 257 stw load data will be pretty close
