Cougarz.460 Wyatt
In the latest issue of Rifle magazine in the custom rifle section there was is a rifle made on a M600 Remington and chambered in .460 Wyatt.
The cartridge is based on the .350 Rem mag necked up to .458. Ive been trying to find information on this cartridge but so far have drawn a blank.
It looks interesting and being a fan of the 350 Rem mag it looks like an interesting little thumper. Have any of you ever heard of this particular cartridge before?

boom stickI thought the. 2.35" version would be perfect for short action and 45-70 bullets. Use 458 Win Mag dies and reamer and you can single load 458 Win Mag ammo.

MickinColoLike you I've never heard of the 460 Wyatt but if it's just a blown out 350 Remington Mag then it isn't much more than a 450 Marlin. The Wyatt case would be about .070 longer.

CougarzYes the article states that it's like a 450 Marlin or 458 American only with a bit more capacity therefore capable of more velocity. The article doesn't say how much more.
Being a big fan of the .350 Rem mag and those quirky model 600/660 rifles I just thought it is an interesting idea and was curious if anyone had ever heard of it before.
