Just thought that this is an interesting concept. Take 3" Rigby basic and have a belt formed on it and swaged down to 500 NE casehead to form any of the 500 NE derivitives. Take a 416 Rigby donor gun or any Magnum CZ for the project. Use the propper corresponding NE dies and reamers but 416 Rigby shell holder and bolt. Use the same barrel length and loads as in your matching double rifle for the same point of impact. Similar concept to the 375 Flanged and the 375 Rimless Nitro Express or 375 H&H (Yes not an exact comparison but you get the idea) The 500/450 Rimless NE would be quite an inexpensive conversion on the CZ 458 Lott but it is the 500 that I like the most. Minus the rim the carts have very slick feeding profiles and to not have a rebate would be an added bonus.
