So I ended up with a Mauser sporting rifle barrel with integral rib and sights that had been rebored to .35. The chamber was truly buggered by someone so ground the neck and pilot of a 9.3x62 to ft and rechambered barrel. Fit it to a FN action and am fitting to a semi inlet stock. Guess it will be a metric Whelen, will fit ppu brass and post how it goes.

9,0x62. Just be sure the 9,3x62 will absolutely not chamber or you will have some unfortunate soul lose his head. You may have to change the shoulder position.

A 35 Gibbs reamer would clean up the chamber and dies are available at RCBS. Possibly a 350 Hawk would as well,, it's a powerhouse just a c-hair away from the 358 Norma Magnum!

Houston we have a problem, took a 9.3x62 loaded with Nosler 250 accubond loaded to recommend OAL and sure enough it chambered like it was made for it, am contemplating what to do as a remedy. Maybe 358 Norma? Thanks, Lynn

35 Gibbs would be the coolest and the most style points.

358 Norma would clearly be the easiest solution. It is what I was planning on when I tripped over a 358 STA at an auction.
