boom stick450 mbogo?
i dont know if dave would approve, he is in africa right now but...
if you trim off the belt of the 460 wby you would pretty much have a 450 mbogo.
no rebate, no belt and use 460 wby loads, dies n reamer. (grind off belt of reamer)
you could trim at 2.85 and still have a sufficient neck length for the cheaper 2.85" actions. (.423 or .035 short of a full cal neck length)
cheap and avaliable brass and other goodies.
you can find loaded ammo in africa, just carry a pocket file to take the belt off in a pinch if you lose yer ammo. (thats the boyscout in me

)
advantages over the 450 rigby are cheap avaliable brass.
advantage over the 460 wby is...no belt
its the same as the 500 a2 bsi (boom stick improved) but has the advantage of the cheapest components...i am not a fan of hyper velocities but 500's @ 2500 at decent preasures is a good idea

if you buy a 460 wby or already own one...just rebarrel and get to headspace off the shoulder.
just the musings of a hopeless wildcat'r

jeffeossomake 460 rigby brass from 460 weatherby, that's what happens when you cut off the belt and resize:_
other than taking a file to a live round ( need a nuke mushroom cloud smilely here)...

boom sticki have used a bastard file to good result and it does not raised the temp much at all...if it can take africa heat it can take a file...
it is more like an mbogo with its forward shoulder...it has a useless belt...kinda like rims with spinners
