Was just looking on MGM's website and they have the 20x5.7x28 barrel in stock. I thought that would be as cute as a bug. I cant find the brass. I have no idea what case capacity is but im sure its small. May be more suted to the 17's.
One more thing. All the brass i've seen has some 'greasy, red, gunk' on it. Is it all like that? Thanks in advance

What are they trying to accomplish?

i think you are mssing the point, a small game cartridge with only 10 grains of powder. something along the lines of a 17 ccm, 22 ccm that can feed from a magazine without the problems of the hornet or ccm case.

the cost of powder makes this a very attractive reloadable cartridge in 17, 20 or 22 caliber.

I have been working with a cz 527 in 5.7x28 and get around 2700 with 40 gr balistic tips and h110 the loads from the factory are about 2200 for the restricted ammo and about 2100 for the standard. I look at it more as a reloadable 22 mag with better bullet selection than a weenie rimless hornet or bee. as a replacement for rimfire it is topps.
