As we scaled the .300 H&H down to .264 on the .240 Wea'by case, how about using the .378 Wea'by, seizing it - making it look like a .300H&H? Why? I did not think we asked Q's like that....? Bent Fossdal Reiso 5685 Uggdal Norway

"Un-improving" the case eh? Interesting.....would you go with a 3.6" or a longer action? I'm thinking it would be closer to upper 300wby loads but with much less pressure. If you think every possible niche has been filled already, thank a wildcatter!

To me at least, wildcatting should have some goal in mind...doing it just because we can seems too contrived from a 'purest's' standpoint. What would be the goal with this odd cartridge? .

I like the idea of a scaled up 350 Rigby It is called the 416 Rigby The "Advantages" I see are classic styling and if smithed right the same slick feeding of the 300 HH Right Bent? 577 BME 3"500 KILL ALL 358 GREMLIN 404-375 *we band of 45-70ers* (Founder) Single Shot Shooters Society S.S.S.S. Boomie- I don't know about Bent, but the major advantage I see is that the "Rawtha rude young chap at the club who is always making snide comments about my Springfield sporter being old hat" doesn't have one. My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.
