Big Bore Wildcat????
I'm sure it's already been tried, but anybody know of a 700NE necked down to a .460WM? THANKS!

To my knowledge it hasn't been done yet. A few reasons against such a project, suitable actions, difficulty and expense of obtaining brass, and suitable primers to ignite such a large powder charge.

You'd be dollars and fps ahead just necking down the 50 bmg.

700 nitro brass is like 30 bucks EACH

50bmg brass is like 75 CENTS

bmg brass is BIGGER

and yep, it's bene done.

what you wind up wit, assuming a 700/450 NE, is a GAINT case designed to run 2150... you might get more, but the bullets aren't designed to go more than 2400
