| Yes, there's the 416 Aagaard here in the USA, but it uses 376 Steyr as the donor brass. Practically the same effect as you want. Don't know about international issues but 4D shows the reamer available for rent. 416 More 416 info The 416 Ruger probably took the place in most people's minds. |

| Thanks ! Cartridges of the World says that "The .416 BGA uses standard-lenght actions, bolt faces, and magazines." IMO that means rebated rim and shortened case which means something like .416 Aagaard is. |

| Is the cartridge you are suggesting really that much different from the .416 Taylor? My own wildcat cartridge is based on the .300 Winchester Magnum necked up to accept .416 bullets, and I have had no trouble duplicating .416 Rigby performance. |

No, I don´t think so. But I do not like belted cases and don´t want to build whole new rifle. Just one barrel more to my Husqvarna. |
