igorrock9,3x64 Brenneke to .416 bullet
I have one Husqvarna m640 rifle converted to 9,3x64. It´s very nice rifle to shoot and carry. Beside that rifle I have aprc. 100 shells and one .416 Heym barrel. So I have been thinking if is it possible to open 9,3s shells for .416 bullet...?

wookie76Yes, there's the 416 Aagaard here in the USA, but it uses 376 Steyr as the donor brass. Practically the same effect as you want.
Don't know about international issues but 4D shows the reamer available for rent.
416 More 416 info The 416 Ruger probably took the place in most people's minds.

igorrockThanks ! .376 Steyr is familiar to me but I have forgot this Aagaards .416 version.

igorrockYes, I have thinking for a long time to do a .416 -bullet version of 10,75x68 but with easier case to buy. The only problem is those "hard" bullets but maybe I have to make my own....

ChapsboroThe 416 BGA is the Brenneke necked up. There's some information on it in Cartridges of the World book.

igorrockThanks !
Cartridges of the World says that
"The .416 BGA uses standard-lenght actions, bolt faces, and magazines." IMO that means rebated rim and shortened case which means something like .416 Aagaard is.

xausaIs the cartridge you are suggesting really that much different from the .416 Taylor? My own wildcat cartridge is based on the .300 Winchester Magnum necked up to accept .416 bullets, and I have had no trouble duplicating .416 Rigby performance.

No, I don´t think so. But I do not like belted cases and don´t want to build whole new rifle. Just one barrel more to my Husqvarna.
