| The 22 version should have the same capacity as the 22PPC, 33 gr.
The 22BR is 38.5 gr for comparison.
Good company I'd say. |

| The DTI versions are made with 30 degree shoulders. Dies made by Hornady. I was going to have an upper made in .223 WSSMbut this sounds like a much better option. |

| I've done a few .357 BFG-Herrett short at 1.625" on the SPC case for folks that don't want to mess with the rimmed 30-30/32SP/375W brass. |

| I'm shooting a 6mm PDK which is the 6.8 necked to 6mm, shoulder diameter increased, and 30 degree shoulder. It's a hammer for XTC competion. I've not done any load development, but 25gr Varget under a moly coated 107 Sierra is extremely accurate and should be around 2800+ fps. The 6mm WOA is the SPC necked to 6 with no other changes. There are several PDK variants, Forster makes the dies. White Oak Arms has the reamer and put out an excellent upper. Load data here....http://www.pdk20.com/Load-Tables1.html |

| gzig, are you sure 25grn. of Varget will push it 2800+? I think that is pretty optimistic. Butch |

Butch, I've not chronographed my loads yet, but will be before next season. I'm basing my comment on the information on the cartridge creators website. http://www.pdk20.com/Load-Tables1.htmlHe is reporting ~2850 @25gr with the 107. There are some obvious typos in his table, but I'd be surprised if it's far off of that number based on data I've seen from the 6WOA, 6 Hagar and the Grendel based cases. We'll see. Greg |

| The 6.8 SPC is a shortened 25 Remington case ( or 30 Remington), which in turn was a rimless version of the old 30/30 case...
The on the other hand, you have the old 219 Zipper or the Old 219 Donaldson Wasp...which were on the rimmed 30/30 cases... shorted down...
but also it was not uncommon to use the 25 Rem case to build the same rounds...
no one is reinventing the wheel here...
essentially wildcats on the 6.8 SPC were done 60, 70 and 80 years before the 6.8 SPC ever came into existence...
that being said, I was thinking of doing a barrel chambered in the 25 Remington, using the 6.8 SPC case...for nostalgia purposes.. |

| Marty at Teppo Jutsu has a .30 cal wildcat based on the 6.8 called the .30 HRT. It's necked up and formed in a .30 Herrett die, then trimmed to length. |
