Oh let's see here. How about: .41Special, .411JDJ, .41Avenger, .414SuperMag, .41GNR,and .41GNR#2. The Contender frame rather limits the available choices.

Whatis the difference in 411 JDJ and 416 JDJ. have had both suggested.

Both on .444Marlin case. One .411 and the other .416. That's all the difference.

To expand on what Joe said, the .411 is intended to shoot the light pistol bullets while the .416 is intended to shoot the heavier rifle bullets.

Actually, I'm using 300,350, and 400gr. bullets in my .411JDJ. It does a great job on elk, moose, bear, and the large African PG. The premium is that you CAN use jacketed and cast pistol bullets for small game, deer, antelope, varmints, etc. Big Grin

Heard of 416 hawk, '06 case, not sure if .410/.411 or 416 cal or if a similar case is out there on a '06....Scovill? Should work, also a 308 case, have to be encore.
