They are a "Special Run" of Nitro Piston air rifles for Wal-Mart. I called Crosman and spoke to their Customer Service Rep who only said it is a "less expensive" version of the Nitro Piston rifle. He could not say exactly what made it "less expensive" than the others though.

Ralph has seen them in South Georgia and Central Florida. Another buddy has seen them in Eastern N.C.

Apparently in 22cal, Thumbhole stock, but the Scope on it may not be an AO model. Not positive about the Velocity.

I've looked at a couple of Wal-Marts and have yet to see one. And they were not listed on their web site the last time I looked, but that may have changed.

Anyone else seen one or tried one?

Sportsman's Guide has a Benjamin nitro-piston .22 for $179 Club Price. I was thinking of getting one.

Hey Steve, Thanks for adding the link. It seems the prices are coming down a bit from the original Release. Plus we are seeing more Models.
