http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/9851035311In fact, I think you need to start going to the Rambouillet Game Fair again. I ran into Pierré van Tonder in April and it was quite a surprise since I didn't know he now had an agent in France. In fact, the agent lives near Strasbourg if you want to meet that person. PM me if interested.
Sorry William
I wasn't aware of your hunting trip in Namibia.
Nice trophies, and incredible pictures.
Yes you look like d'Artagnan in Europe and like a pirat in Africa.
Please Pm me the adress of PVT's agent.
kind regards

well done all around.
I wasn't planning on taking another impala, but when I saw this one I changed my mind. Did I say I was happy about the impala?
I also want to add a comment about photos in general. I just handed my camera, whether the Nikon DSLR or the Canon pocket camera, to Clinton van Tonder and he took the photos. I take no credit. What I have posted is a mix of photos from both cameras, which just goes to show you that you can take very nice photos with a pocket Canon S95, such as this one:

bobby7321Hey Wink! Great report. Sharing camp with you was great fun.
We just got into Dar, but I'll post a report and start editing all the video once I get home.
Glad to see you got home safe after that charter incident. You should see how they ended up getting that plane out haha, and yes I had the camera rolling the whole time.
I'll be in touch soon.

We are all hoping to see photos or video of that plane. I like to think your safari turned out great and can't wait for the report and images.

WinkThanks to bobby I've a couple of photos of the final resting place of the light aircraft which ended up in the bush at the end of the Mseguni airstrip:
Judging from the smoke in the upper right hand corner of the second photo, Kinky and Johnny Masai still have access to matches.

From left to right: Clinton van Tonder, me, Mbijani, Kingui, Sweetness (the driver, who's nickname changed daily), and the game scout David.

How were you able to take pictures of the terminal and plane.
Trying to take my camera out to take a picture of our Airplane, i was almost tackled.
All those armed guards watching the airport place and it was a NO PHOTO area.

Wendell ReichGreat report. That is a Cessna 206, I believe. It does not require a "co-pilot" someone was riding along to log it probably. Hey, hours are tough to come by!
Glad nobody was hurt! Well, except your forehead, but that was self inflicted. All the photos from my first hunt in Zim had scope cuts. Every single one.
Good pictures and a nice report.

Good shot placement [as seen on some photos] makes good bullet performance of lesser importance!

Whatever, it sure all worked out for you. Congratulations!
