A most interesting vid. Equally good shooting. Does a shot like that ruin the skull for mounting if one were contemplating say, a Euro type mount?

Absolutely. Then you must go for neck. But again accuracy is called for.

Wendell I am really glad you finally found something you were good at. It took you a while. Be nice and I might let you come along with me on my next safari to film it. At your expense of course. Smiler

You are just jealous because I didn't invite you.

Can you imagine if we had a video camera with us in Zambia? I could sell that footage to comedy central.

No problem Roland.

My gear list:
Sony hdr AX2000 camera
Sennheiser wireless mic
Rode Shotgun Mic
Manfrotto tripod and head

Editing software:
Final Cut Pro X
Adobe After Effects

Also used a Panasonic Lumix camera (recommended by Saeed) some of the video is off the Lumix. You can tell the difference in the two. But it made for some great second angle shots.

Agreed. The first shot did the job. I normally try to avoid following up on clients shots. But Jack specifically requested that I did!

Good job and nothing worse than seeing your hard earned $2,500 slipping back into the water.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Wendell.

A very fine video, down toned yet exciting. Good low key music as well. Good work I'd say.

I started with this one, then watched your others. You're obviously gifted.

Kind regards

Wendell,

Nice work on this one also. The shot looks simple but an inch or two off target and the croc would have been in the water in a flash with a good chance of being lost.
