So interesting to see some of same pix I have only taken from a different angle. I've hunted African a little bit and I really love that Kafue area. A unique and wonderful environment there. Huge congrats to you and Andrew on a super safari.

Stupid question but can someone enlighten me on how the dirt bike is used as "back up?"

Andrew explained that should the lions show-up again, he was going to start it up and shine the head-light on them, expecting the sound, light, and smell of petrol to scare them off. While we were there he got his staff to get it in working order and running.

I don't know if he ever tried it, but he is probably correct.

Problem is that would he have time to get on it and start it before sometime untoward happened?

I believe Andrew has plans to fix the "in camp" lion problems.[/QUO

Thanks that what I thought. My luck would be the damn thing would stall out with simba a yard away.:-)
