Here are some pics of a hunt I completed in January 2022 with Faro Safari Club in Cameroon. It was truly an epic hunt in a wild piece of Africa. Tracking Giant Eland on foot through the Savannah has to be the pinnacle of plains game hunting.

All images captured by Tim Jandrell of Black Lion Productions

I sincerely hope you all enjoy!

I can't see the photo's but I will 100% agree that a proper LDE tracking hunt is the purest of all tracking hunts.

One of, if not Africa's finest prizes awaits you at the end of the track.

Perfect.

Great safari! The terrain looks exactly like were I hunted north east of Ngoundere. The city itself was very different with a mosque across the street from a Catholic Church. The taxis were motorbikes driven by guys dressed for an Artic winter. Well done.

Fantastic!

Thank you for sharing with us.

Personally, I don't see the point of ruining photos by having them in black and white.

So much detail is lost.

Great collection of images and trophies. What a lovely heavy LDE that was. The buffalo are spectacular.

Let's hope that Cameroon remains safe for hunters.

My friend, that is an EXCELLENT photo report. I'll second that the pictures really tell a story.

Cameroon is high on my list.

Also: In case some of you haven't noticed, MD doesn't mess around... He has a strong tendency to collect some absolutely spectacular trophies wherever he goes!

My sincerest thanks to one and all for the kind comments. I truly appreciate it. Words cannot really describe the adventure that awaits the visiting hunter. I really hope the pictures did some justice!

Cameroon is a strange place, Douala ranks up there as one of the worst cities I have ever been to. The people are rude and unfriendly. Navigating through the airport, everyone has their hand out for a bribe. However, once you enter the bush, you are rewarded with one of the most pristine game rich environments I have ever seen. The hunting was truly spectacular.

Ngaoundere was full of mosques and churches, people there were much friendlier and hospitable compared to Douala. Is there a link to your report? I would love to read it.

Outstanding hunt and photos. Reminds me of a PH that had black and white photos of his trackers over the years framed in his home against a red wall. It was very nice. Next year, I vow to take those kinds of pictures. Awesome hunt and photos.

The savannah is a special place. Hot, dusty and dry. Miles and miles of walking while mopane flies have their way with you. Oh, but the prize is worth it all. Well done!

Congrats! You captured Cameroon perfectly in your photos. Cameroon is a special destinations and worlds away from a safari in Southern Africa.

Well done!
