| What a compelling report, almost a guideline for what to expect on a Bongo hunt. Congrats to the family for an outstanding hunt. You have mentioned Pakistan in your report, were you hunting there ?? Cheers

Ali, I have not hunted in Pakistan but plan to in the next few years. I had an interesting trip through Pakistan a few years back. I flew to Islamabad and drove from there to Lahore the east to the India border and then south to Karachi. I saw parts of Pakistan that few Americans get to see. The roads and drivers were crazy but we made it fine. Putting all politics aside, I found the country and people to be just like the rest of us in the world - desire peace, safety for our families, worship as we choose and respect one another. |

| Because it was hard and because many wouldn't even attempt it, I think you have some fantastic memories that over time will outshine your more mundane hunts.
Well done. |

| Bravo, Ross! Fantastic hunt and adventure! And one of the most perceptive, thoughtful, funny and well-written reports I have ever read. Great photographs, too. The bongo is an amazing animal, and yours and your son's are beautiful. Congratulations, and thank you for taking the time to write this down and share it with us.

| Awsome, I realy liked the extra insight into the daily lives of the Pygmys
I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.

| Excellent report. Appreciated how you took the time to learn and explain a bit about the locals. So refreshing to see a report where someone spends a bit of time trying to pick up a bit of the local culture. Congrats on a tough and successful hunt!
