Wonderful report and pictures. Especially liked the eagles: guessing black eagle pair and a solitary spotted eagle owl???

Cannot wait to get back to Namibia in late July, covid and airlines willing (Air Namibia just bellied up).

As I said before awesome report this .

I thought Harpy Eagles were from South America ?

Possibly a immature Martial Eagle or Crowned Eagle ?

Has all the markings of a Hawk-Eagle.

Possibly Ayre's if there are cliffs and rocky ledges nearby.

Immature Martial Eagle.
Crowned eagle would be the African equivalent of a Harpy.

African hawk eagles, with Ayres's hawk eagle we would have seen some mottling on the thighs. Nice couple!

Hard to believe this was ten years ago. Pulled it up to reread it after reading the news of the attack on Kambaco. It would be such a shame if this area were not protected into the future.
