My mom bought this pepper plant, and these peppers are insanely hot, I've ate two and both times I about wet myself...took them to school and got in trouble for paying kids to eat them!
I've never seen these before, the plant has no tag, and I can't find them online.

Oday450It may be a Chili Petin, sometimes called a Chili Piquin or bird pepper. If so, they are for a fact potent.

Tyler KempSome of the pictures on google look just like it, some don't, so I'll assume these are "bird peppers".
I gave one to a kid before class for a dollar and he couldn't even sit still, he ditched class to go plant himself on the water fountain!

From a South Texan with a Chile Petin bush in my back yard, I'll tell you those/that are not Chile Petin's.
They do not look like Habeneros, either, which are ranked as the hottest peppers.
