Prime Minister Kevin Rudd - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.
Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians'..

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'. 'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,

'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Before you get too excited about this, read the context.

Don't matter to me if it is 100% true, 50% true or even 1% true. What's true is that Muslims should follow the laws in their host country and not try to turn that country into Iran West or Saudi Down Under. I have never seen Catholics go to Syria and try to turn that backward shithole into a country that looks to its Bible over its Koran...

Even Haitian voodoo is ok with them.

quote:
Adherents of voodoo do not perceive themselves as members of a separate religion; they consider themselves Roman Catholics. In fact, the word for voodoo does not even exist in rural Haiti. The Creole word vodoun refers to a kind of dance and in some areas to a category of spirits. Roman Catholics who are active voodooists say that they "serve the spirits," but they do not consider that practice as something outside of Roman Catholicism. Haitians also distinguish between the service of family spirits and the practice of magic and sorcery

Well, I'm a lapsed Roman Catholic and I have no use for Haitian-style voodoo. I suspect not too many practicing Roman Catholics around the world do, either. The quote says the Haitians "consider" themselves to be RC. Well, considerin' and bein' are two different things. Down Texas way, they say "Putting your boots in the oven don't make 'em biscuits..."

I noticed that too but I haven't seen where the RCC has taken steps to disavow them either, kinda like the Muslims won't disavow the extremists.

Not a biggie to me but I think it's interesting considering the current Haitian malady.

Bruce, do you forget why the Christians did there little crusade? It is because the Christians living in the area were converted to Islam to avoid having their throats slit! Read your history, then go back a little further!

Some of the crusaders were worse than the heathens they claimed to oppose. Prince & later King John was a homosexual and a bad king. The Venetian traders and the Crusaders together actually raided the Orthodox Christian Byzantine empire (today's Iraq) and dethroned the Christian king. After plundering the place they installed a local whore as the Queen!

Saladin was actually a moderate and scholarly man. When the Crusaders tricked him, Babus the monster took over command. The rest in history as they say.....

You miss the point, if the peace loving Muslims had not converted most of Europe by the sword there would have been NO CRUSADES. I am not condoning what happened in the crusades, but there is a reason they happened, and most people do not even know this as it is not being taught. I don't give a shit if King John was a good or bad king.

Whoever wrote that should be the Prime Minister of England. I would donate vulgar amounts of cash to his political campaign.

My father was talking to an elderley man at the hospital the other day and he said '' i was in the supermarket ,and accidently bumped into a muslim woman dressed in a Burkhaa, and said sorry Missus.'' ,the muslim woman replied ''Not as sorry as your gonna be when we takeover'' i tried to post this on Yahoo comment several times but Yahoo will not post it.I think they should ban Muslims immigrating into Australia or any Western Nation [if they had any sense or brains] their ultimate goal whether you believe it or not is to make the world Islam not to live in harmony with infidels

Completely untrue too.
The UK has one of the LOWER percentages of residents who don't speak the language when compared to the rest of Europe.

Remind me again how many illegal immigrants have entered the US in recent years......
