I have been chatting recently with both of these gentlemen about a rifle project that I am about to begin, they have been nothing but kind, and extremely helpful!

Their knowledge of big bore rifles is more vast than most people's knowledge of guns altogether!

These are the kind of professional, and knowledgable individuals that make this sport so great.

Couldn't agree more. Going to the Ivory Beads Gunshop in Covina Ca. tomorrow to complete the paperwork on a 375 H&H that Wayne just completed. The pics he sent look great and the stock work was impressive . Had it built on a GMA action and piece and finished with gun cote.

Going to meet robgunbuilder in Vegas later this month and try out the 600 OK. Wayne's guns are great quality at a reasonable price. And his customer service is second to none. Both of the above listed gentlemen adds to my enthusiasm and my level of knowledge.

I purchased a .416 Remmie from Ivory Beeds a number of years ago. They have a first rate shop and a lot of nice firearms (mainly shotguns).

Echo all said here 100%. I was so happy with the work on my 600 OK that I had AHR build me a fancy 585AHR for my dad's 70th birthday. Wayne (and Ed Plummer with whom I had also spoken) - the very best.

I met and had dinner with Rob (and his lovely wife) when I was in Vegas last year. Again, better people simply do not exist. I was immediately made welcome and comfortable and we had a great evening.

This is why I made the post earlier about "Good folk..." We really are surrounded by the best and I am honored and humbled by the goodness of people.

Sincerely,
Paul

Robgunbuilder and Ed Plummer (founder of AHR)worked very closely on bringing the 600 OK to the shooting public. I think it is really Rob's baby, made available to the public by Ed. Add Ed Hubel to the mix and those three guys are the center of the sporting big bore universe.

I am exploring all options before I write a check, nothing personal!

If I recall, I don't believe I "demanded" anything, I simply wanted your number so that I could call and discuss the specifics of what I wanted done, so that I would have a ball park figure.

No ill will was ever intended.

Don't really understand the hostility, I never said anything negative about you or your company, I was doing nothing more than posting my experiences with the two gentlemen I mentioned.

I am attempting to consult anyone I can about what will be needed to get my project off of the ground, as far as I can tell I haven't stuck my tongue out at anyone.

Sorry you feel that way.

Nice way to secure future customers shame HogLeg just seems to be getting all the info he can with a build and you call bullshit and a throw a tantrum! Unless there is more going on behind the scenes you are out of order. I admit some people are a PITA that are better off seeking goods elsewhere but I see none of that here. Enlighten me as to why you are coming across as an ass. You are not doing your company any good posting as you are.

I hope so, my friend, I sure hope so - for the beasties, that is!

The product of the mind of RGB, the hands of Bitterroot and Ed, as well as the fabrications of Macifej and again RGB should put an end to any troubles the beasties might try to bring upon us.
