I shoot a .416 Rem and use the 370 grain North Fork soft and flat nose solid. 80 grains of RL-15 and Federal 215M primer, it does 2450 fps. I also shoot a 416 Rigby with a North 370 grain North Fork soft and flat nose solid and put behind it 98 grains RL-22 and Federal 215M primer, it does 2450 fps. Both do one holers when I am capable. I do a lot of plinking with 400 grain Hornady Round Nose, but when an animal is involved it is North Forks all the way. Good shooting. phurley | |||
