Freaky!
Gotta get some saber-tooth dentures fitted to big male ligers and begin some canned/high-fenced liger spearing for hunters like Walter and the GEICO cavemen. Pointy sticks only.

Outfitters could charge the hunter modestly for such bookings, never lose a liger, and make a killing on large audiences that would pay to watch the DVD ... but there would be no repeat client hunters.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! The Liger comes out bigger than its parents, I wonder if a Tigon would come out the same way?

And I wonder if a liger/tigon is sterile like a mule?

I do know if a black lab sire gets over the fence to the Weimaraner bitch in heat, you will have hybrid vigor in the puppies: 32" at the withers, 120 pounds at 1 year of age, and can catch a flying frisbee at 100 yards, and reach a flock of wild turkeys a quarter mile away in 30 seconds. Blackjack was his name, and the finest dog I ever had. RIP Blackjack. CRYBABY

Fjold,
The articles on tigons say that they do not get nearly as big as ligers. An earlier liger report shows a liger that weighed 1000 lbs and it was only a year old. They expected it to top out at 1200 lbs and about 10 1/2 feet long without its tail. I knew there was a practical reason to own a 4 bore double. I had just forgotton what it was!
