I like the idea of chambering a barrel in 500 A2 and adding a rim to the chamber so it can single load a 32 gauge shotgun and fire with both.

It seems the 500 Nitro and the 32 gauge are almost identical. also if you make a hybrid you could turn a 32 gauge into a 500 Nitro, 500 A2 or a .500" A2 (.500 pistol bullets). If you run a 32 gauge rim reamer in a .510 barrel then run A2 reamer in you could chamber and shoot both it seems to me.

seems they are obsessed with the dia of bullets and not the interior dia of the barrel and most shotguns are exempt.

If you stamp the barrel 32 gauge and it can chamber and fire 32 gauge I think this leaps over a hurdle of Lib Ignorance. The belted 32 Gauge (500 A2) repeater seems the most advantageous.

the same principle can be had by adding a belt to the 50BMG case and having a rim added for the 12 gauge ect...

Well if shotgun ammo is carried with the gun it will make sense even to the idiots.

A 500 A2 turn bolt that could fire a 32 gauge in a pinch is pretty cool imho

Plus you could bag some african birds with it
