I can't be here all the time; I have to build rifles once in a while Smiler From the left are the 700 AHR with 1,000 grain monolithic plinker, 600 OK with 800 grain copper eXpander, 585 AHR with 750 grain Woodleigh SN, 500 AHR with Woodleigh solid, and for comparison, the 45 Chapstick.
The 700, 600, and 585 have a 3.00" case length with the 505 Gibbs head dia. The 500 AHR is similar to the 500 Jefferey but longer neck, and we don't make the 450 AHR. It was a concept that we decided not to continue. We like the 450 Rigby. We are re-chambering 458 Win Mags to the Rigby and we really like this round. My personal 45 cal. is the Rigby. Good velocity, medium pressure, and a high degree of coolness.

CORRECTION:The 700 AHR's rim diameter is larger than the 600 OK and 585 AHR. Sorry, it has been a long day.

Question...

Is the 700 made from BMG brass???

necking the 700 AHR to 510 and the 585 AHR to 505 or 510 would be interesting...

The 505-585 version you could save cost and keep the barrel on a 505 CZ

You could ditch the belt if desired when necked down.

I know I know, bolt thrust...

thanks for sharing. wave

They have .685" bore, add about .020" mouth
thickness both sides, gives .705", add
minimum taper of .010 gives .715", add
.020 for belt gives about .735" which will
go through reciever with .750" bolt. Ed
