I posted this question on the single shot forum I wanted to know how would shooting 300grain bullets at 2970fps. feel like (recoil wise) out of an Encore rifle. The caliber is 416 Rigby the barrel has a muzzle break on it.

Since it has a brake, I wouldn't worry about it. Cool Just wear your ear protection!!! Eeker

I shoot my elk rifle pushing a 325 gr. X bullet to close to 2800 fps, off of a Harris bipod (PRONE) and without any muzzle brake, and it's just a bit abusive. rotflmo

Yours might feel like a .300 Mag.

I HAVE ONE AND HAVE NO PROBLEM SHOOTING FROM A BENCH,BUT IT WILL CLEAR YOUR SINUS
