Jamison folks informed me that the new run of brass shouls be ready in about 3 weeks. I'm getting some to test as I sent them some once fired Kynoch to compare with CIP, etc. I'm told the Kynoch brass mates up with CIP and the new brass should be nuts on. I know it works perfectly in my Heym, so I can't wait. The black and blue has subsided from my right shoulder and I'm ready to do it all over again! Big Grin

Good deal. thumb

I sent Marc Jamison some of the .505 Gibbs brass that A-Square screwed up on the first run of CZ Safari Classic ammo. That A-Square stuff would not chamber in the CZ .505 Gibbs without use of a sledge hammer.

My dealer had to return all his stock of CZ ammo to CZ when I reported that. I got a refund for all but 10 cartridges that I boogered up trying to close the bolt on them. I wanted to save some for posterity anyway.

I had A-Square emailing me, wanting me to send some of the brass to them. But I was so pissed about paying $130 for ten faulty pieces ... I sent it to Marc Jamison instead.

His .505 Gibbs brass worked fine in the CZ .505 Gibbs when I later got 200 pieces of Jamison .505 Gibbs brass for an incredibly low price.

I got 200 pieces of Jamison .505 Gibbs brass for $200 plus $12 S&H. April 02, 2005 price.

I sure hope he charges more now!

200 rounds of CZ .505 Gibbs ammo with A-Square bullets would be about $2600.

Back to Jamison 500 Jeffery Brass:

Either Marc or his able assistant eventually get things right.

A-Square is hopeless.

Is A-Square making 500 Jeffery ammo for CZ?
Or has CZ learned not to bother with A-Square anymore?

RIP...not sure about A-Square making the 500 Jeff ammo....I bought 10 rounds of Kynoch from Midway just so I could shoot my new baby. I sent 4 pieces of the fired brass to Marc/Terry for them to look at. They have done their homework on this caliber now, I assure you. I'm getting a few test pieces prior to full blown shipment....very nice of them to do that.
I have a lot of confidence in them getting it all sorted out...their customer service is awesome in my opine.
