375 Ruger solid pilot finish reamer: $115.00 375 Ruger Go Gage: $28.00 $195 FOR A REMOVABLE PILOT REAMER, STANDARD OR WILDCAT $50 FOR A WILDCAT GO GAGE Shipped 7-18-07. Arived 7-20-07. Sounds great ... but Dave Manson has finally screwed up one of my orders. It was supposed to be a removable pilot finisher. I will now have to reorder. On a happier note, the .375 Ruger standard reamer (solid pilot apparently) is stacked up at Manson Precision Reamers for anyone to get quick delivery on one. I apparently got lost in the shuffle of a semi-production run of these .375 Ruger reamers. At least a .395 Ruger Max reamer with removable pilot could be used for wild cats larger than .395 just as easily as a .375. Max, I am truly sorry for the screw up, but it is not my fault. Back to the drawing board. Dave has delivered reamers to me before in 3 weeks, usually takes about 5 weeks, once it took almost 4 months (500 Mbogo, aka 50-08). So I am hoping to get a rush on a .395 Ruger Max reamer, TO IMMORTALIZE THE ".395 RUGER MAX" NAME. BTW, the shot glass arrived, very nice. Thanks.

I just got my .416 Ruger reamer from PTG $150 shipped with removasble pilot and the go gauge was $27 in the same box. All looks exactly as I ordered it and several weeks sooner than expected! /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Good price. My Gunsmith has used the PTG (Dave Kiff) .338 Lapua Mag. reamer on all my .338 Lapua Mag. wildcats so far with complete satisfaction. Dave Kiff also made several other reamers for me, including my 300 Lapua reamer, a standard, but with a special throat (300 Weatherby style), and shipped it to my door for $136.95. The "go gauge" came later when I realized the 300 Lapua has a standard 25-degree shoulder instead of the standard 20-degree shoulder of the .338 Lapua Mag. That was $27.00 plus $12 shipping. I also notice that Dave Manson spells it "go gage" and dave Kiff spells it "go gauge." "Gage" is the "chiefly technical" alternate spelling for "gauge" in my dictionary. The two Daves also have different methods of attaching the removable pilot. Maybe I will see how fast Dave Kiff can make a .395 Ruger Max reamer this time, and add him to the ".395 Family." He deserves the recognition for his fine work. The solid pilot .375 Ruger reamers in stock at Manson are for Hornady's Mitch Mittelstaedt specs. $115. Either of the Daves are excellent by me.

Mitch is a good man....I'd trust his specs anyday. Do you want to sell the solid pilot reamer for the .375 Ruger? /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Aye, the Mitch Mittelstaedt spec's are the only specs, since he designed the .375 Ruger. I will use that .375 Ruger reamer on a .375/.338WinMag conversion to .375 Ruger. Make That $115 from Manson instead of $110 from me. No matter what the fans of the .375/.338WinMag say, that old bird gets red in the face trying to equal a .375 H&H but the .375 Ruger surpasses the .375 H&H with same pressure as .375 H&H.
