how will the 458 a.r. compare to the 450 vincent short?
it seems the vincent short will do 500gr 2500 fps with hot loads

being these are almost the same is it not easy to extrapolate the same conclusion and loads???

having said that is it or is it not outrageous to say that the 416 will do 2500 with 400 grains making it the mini 416 rigby???

Isn't "pressure".. i can speculate loads, if you like.. but i aint but a month or so from having the first 458 and 416 built... have the 470 barrel, just don't have the action to do it on, yet... and if we just wait a bit, we'll have some real world data
