As a former aerial gunner (AC-130a)...I approve!

If you PM me a good mailing address, I've got a small gift for the aspiring gunner I can send to/through you.

Nice Heinkel bomber. Is it a orignal or the past-war made in Spain? Here in Munich, in the "Deutsches Museum" is only one of this.

Befor a few weeks I visited with my dad the Swiss armee museum in Full. Very interesting and I mean, there are not more such museums with such complete collections. A great collection of Bofors machine guns and canons. Every tank, that was used in the Swiss army, and a few from Germany, GDR and Russia. At the moment, the crew restorate an Kingtiger tank.
And the interesting is, everything is in best condition and in function. Here in germany, war equipment must always be deaktivated, in the museums. Mad

If anyone is interested, I made 180 pictures.

Big Bore Fan,
Do not know much about the Heinkel, as this was in late June and the temperature and humidity in the hangers and on the tarmac caused us to hurry our visit. We will go back in the fall when it cools down and take a couple of my grandsons friends along; and a camera for more pix.

No, there wasn´t a Me262.
But in Munich in the "Deutsches Museum" is a Me262.
http://www.deutsches-museum.de...esserschmitt-me-262/
The museum I mean, is this one:

http://www.militaer-museum.ch/.../application/f35.cfm

Here some pic´s:

The 35mm "Gepard" machine cannon.

A 88mm Flak 38, shotable. Was shown in a few cinema motion pictures.

Swiss 25mm Twin AA-Gun

A few ammo.....

The Kingtiger tank. Build in october 1944, lie remained without fuel at the „Battle of the Bulge“. The cannon was destroyd by the crew. After the war, the tank came to switzerland. But then it was "lost". A civilian people got the tank (?) and gave it to the museum.

A few tanks.....

A tank turret, and me......

More pic´s I can send viá E-Mail.
