Thank you so much, Mac! When times were dark, you brought sunshine. I see multiple seating depth opportunities with this bullet, crimped or no crimp, single shot loaded directly into the chamber of the .395 Tatanka or .398 Lapua Mag. Bore riding nose band and two full-bearing drive "belts." Harlow? SHarlow! I think I am going to break in the .398 Lapua Mag. with this bullet while waiting for the .395 Tatanka dies to arrive. Step by step, Frankenstein is coming alive. This was a nice jolt of lightning bolt. Tracking number? Land SHark? (Old Saturday Night Live skit) S&H Ripper. That will rip it way out there. Da-RIP-a.

Hey Maestro Mac, How about an MTM plastic "Case Guard 50," or whatever it's called, designed for small/medium rifle like the 444 Marlin, .308WCF, or .243Win? Would that work? I'll pay for the packaging if you don't have anything else. These beauties are 1.7875" long and 325 grains? Should be interesting. Plan: I have inside-neck reamed some once-fired .375/.338 Lapua Mag. cases to eliminate dreaded donut. I can neck those up to .395 using the expander ball from the .395 Ruger Max, or my home-made one in a .416 Rigby die. Seating The Ripper nose first into the case is also going to be a way to neck up and fireform .338 Lapua Mag. brass more directly, and see how the donut is with that. The .395 Ruger Max seating and crimping die will be a way to partially neck size and crimp. That die body is big enough to get a .398 Lapua Mag. case into it as far as the neck will allow. The 30-degree Ruger shoulder stays off the 20-degree Lapua shoulder, no setback possibility. I can body and shoulder size with a .338 Lapua Mag. die that that I have carefully and squarely cut off, ground down, and polished at the neck end of the die, far enough into the shoulder to enlarge the neck hole a workable amount. This will be better than I have been able to do with the .395 Tatanka, so far, pending proper dies from Redding. We have the "GSC Trio" of .395 copper bullets: 340-grain HV, SP, and FN. In addition to this, we now have the "S&H Unholy Trinity" of .395 brass bullets: 310-grain SHark 325-grain S&H Ripper 330-grain S&H FN boomer, I'll let you know how accurate backward flying Rippers are.

From the Utah Berry's, eh? Not the Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, nor Kentucky Berry's. Johan Berry landed in Virginia in 1578 as a missionary with The Queen's blessing under the direction of Sir Walter Raleigh. There has been a lot of inbreeding and outbreeding under the bridge since then! Some of them may have even turned into Mormons! That box is the one that fits the 22 Hornet or 30 Carbine. Gonna be tight. Will I have to put the box in the freezer overnight to get the bullets out?

.42" x 2.03" El Holio es mui grande!! If they're too tight you can use em' as Gucci ice trays for special guests! "Oh Ron! You even have fancy ice at your house" "My (Mint Julip, Hurricane, Daiquiri, Mai Tai) tastes so much better with that fancy square stick ice!" "Thanks Aunt Bee! That ice is made in Berry MFG Ices Trays produced in Utah"

I showed this bullet to one of my Gun Phobic token left leaning pals today. He stared at it and touched it with more care than his $50,000 Rolex! After a couple minutes of fixation he said in a most out of character melancholic "poor animals". I had to laugh at him. Poor paper animals yes!!! Land SHark?? Mmmmm....good Bass!

This could have incorporated SHark gills instead of Harlow banding. We'll see how accurate this "SHarlow Ripper" is, compared to the GSC SP. Unless we start getting some GSC's soon I will have to put in a request for the SHark BTHP made in copper instead of brass. I believe there is a drawing for a copper .375/270-grain SHark BTHP somewhere ... Signing out for a trip to Tallahassee this weekend.

Yep! 1) This one could have been done SHarkee for sure!! 2) There are drawings, tooling, and material for .375" Copper SHark HP & FN's ready to roll. 3) There is also a .458" SHark LRV Solid which will work in single shots with loooong freebore.

The S&H Ripper is in my possession. It is next up for the range in a .398 Lapua Mag. Thanks be to S&H. Got the .475/475-grain S&H FN's too. That would be an interesting one to try in the IWB at: 2100 fps (470 NE 2400 fps (470 Capstick) 2700 fps (470 Mbogo) I am going to start off firing The Ripper backwards.

RIP, Sounds extremely interesting. I might have to try some of these too just to excite the guys in 1st Army Div West and 4th ID out here. Got my order in with Gerard's daughter (even proposed to her, but she's too smart for that) for the 340gr HV bullets. Been sick the past week and it has been cold here in Colorado Springs. Soon as it warms up, will test some of the resized bullets in the .395 Max. .395 Family Member DRSS, po' boy member Political correctness is nothing but liberal enforced censorship
