So, Friday afternoon I'm over tormenting, err "assisting" my gunsmith that is doing the 550 Gibbs magnum on a P14 I got as a 505 Gibbs; and he rummages under a shelf for a screw he dropped, and comes out with the screw...and two blue cardboard boxes about 6x8x2". He tells me, "...here Rich, you need these. Twenty-five bucks a box...". The boxes say "Lachmiller Engineering Co. One has a full set of 12 gauge dies, and the other a set of 20 gauge. These things are Huge! I can now reload some serious 12GA loads with the all brass shells I picked up. I can even get some 3" from Ed. So, now the questions is: can I take an old single stage press and bore out the thread to take these 1 1/4" babies? What a great country we live in. I have a set of 1.5" Hollywood dies, 12 and 20ga, I just use them in Ammomaster. A big Lee classic press has 1.25" threads, and they are a good buy.Ed. MZEE WA SIKU

Wow. That is a fantastic score. Now load some brass cases with slugs and make a "poor man's double rifle" for fun. .395 Family Member DRSS, po' boy member Political correctness is nothing but liberal enforced censorship

if memory serves me - if you can find one of the old herters presses - they were bored with a bigger hole for shotgun dies and then they had a bushing for rifle dies. Should be some of them laying around yet cheap
