They have been slow to get out. I have sold 3 so far as most liek the 475 T but that has been out longer. Jim Brockman will have 2 in his booth this year at SCI and we have a number inours #2944. Corbon will be carrying the ammo starting in about 3 months. Is is working out really well and a great shooter on the Marlin paltform, which if you want a scope is they way to go. O think it is slow to get out because I had so much press all along on the 475. The time that it is out and the numbers are about the same based on hte time.

Bear HUnting Mag will be using one this spring an a bear hunt and I am sure I can get it into others hands real soon for additional information.

I had the opportunity to meet shoot a few of Doug's 475's last week. Both shot very well and were very well made. I may have to send him one of my 1886's to play with. Very powerful rifle and I was amazed at how little recoil they have. It was relatively easy to put a lot of lead down range in a quick period of time. Doug was able to hit targets out to over 500 yards with his open sight rifle....several folks who post on this forum were also there.

I was with ROSCOE last week and shot several rounds through Dougs 475 1886.

I can say it was ine of the best rifles I have ever shot. The rifle fit me perfectly, was very accurate, even at long range and the recoil was very plesant, much less than what its power would suggest.
The rifle was well balanced, a pleasure to shoot.

I am not a lever rifle freek... But I really liked that one.

Hi Doug...

I thought your 475 T might be a cool wheel gun wildcat shortened to fit in the 5 shot ruger and use the same headstamp brass you have. Basicly a 500 Linebaugh necked to 475.

A matching sidearm to match the levergun.

Doug was kind enough to send one out to us for a Big Bore match last fall. A very fine rifle to say the least. We were very impresssed with the cartridge. It shot very well and the overall quality of the rifle was first rate. If i had the extra cash that rifle would not have gone back to Doug.
So, a long story short, if you want one, buy one,you won't be sorry. I Promise..Ol Bull
