could someone please tell me if the ruger alaskan with the black diamondcoat finish is stainless underneath(barrel and reciever).

every advertisment i have read is that it is blued with an alaskan coating. if so i will be just getting the matte stainless and painting it

What about the spray on coatings that are supposed to be corrosion proof and stand up to chips...? What's the name, Dura-Coat? They have something like 30+ colors.
