I am the one being attacked here and don't know why, I am just wondering why you guys claim that certain rifles cannot be fired accurately! When I first approached this forum with questions about rechambering my Encore everyone told me I am stupid for considering it. Then I read a post where some nut chambered an Encore pistol in 600 Nitro Express! Then I went out an bought a Ruger No. 1 in 458 and rechambered it to 460 Weatherby, everyone said that gun is going to be terrible to shoot claiming a 100 ft.-lbs of recoil is terrible. Even in the book cartridges of the world were they talk about someone shooting a rifle with 100ft-lbs of recoil and experiencing a recoil induced slide. Whatever that means! All I am saying here. Is why do people lie and exagerate! Thats what pisses me off! All tell you what 100ft-lbs+ of recoil feels like......a whack on the shoulder with alittle bit of discomfort afterwards nothing more and nothing less. Absolutely nothing to discourage someone from rechambering a light rifle to a more powerful cartridge! You guys told me yourselves there are young adults on here that view these forums stop discouraging them from shooting big bore rifles! shame

Positron,
glad you have all the answers... guess you won't have anymore questions? rotflmo

You, of course, are mixing your arguments and positions. moon. You ask why you are attacked, but fly the bird at those that had attempted to help you.

no one, ever, attempted to discourage people from shooting big bores... though say may have attempted to say "work up to it" to protect idiots from themselves...

glad your rifle worked out.. go shoot it.

Either way, he's proof that we need to get the "Ignore" function back like we had in the old days.

And as that doesn't seem to be possible, people should at least intentionally ignore the little troll from now on... Wink
